You need to do a bit of wiring and installation but great product.
This unit delivers hot water. It’s easy to set up and was just what we wanted. The only downside is the hose for the shower spray is just too short. We will replace this before we go camping next. Other than that it’s the trick!!
After building a mount for the shower to fit on my vehicle, I initially had an issue with the pump not drawing water reliably, and I was concerned because of an overland trip coming up within a week. I went through the typical RMA back-and-forth with Camplux, and they went the extra mile to get me a replacement pump within about 48 hours so I would have the device for use on the trip. Great service, and they really delivered. Here's a handy tip--if you're only drawing from drinking water containers, this will easily get water more than hot enough for morning coffee and cooking. We purchased this unit and took camping in Maine. We used a 15 gallon water tank and had hot water in no time at all. It was easy to mount inside our Jeep with Velcro straps then mount outside the vehicle when in use.
This is great for camping. The hose to the shower head is a bit short, I simply added a few extra feet to accomplish what I needed. Lowest heat setting and maximum water flow provides a great temp for a shower. The heat can be turned to max and the water flow to min and it produces scalding hot water, great for adding to some cold water for washing dishes etc.. highly recommend this product.
This was a great purchase worked in the pinch we where in a little small but will work when we go camping and make a great addition to our home made camp trailer.
This is by far the best product that I have purchased for camping. Once it was set up it was a breeze to use. The water gets very warm. The showers at the end of the night before sitting by the fire were amazing.
I finally got around to hooking this up for a camping trip. I wired the pump up to accept a 12v accessory socket attached the hoses and install the 2 D batteries for the ignitor. I have to say this thing works well! Anything off the lowest heat setting is too hot but it will work perfectly for a quick shower at a campsite and heating water for dishes in the tent trailer.

the unit produces hot water and gives a great shower. I thought I was getting the foot with it but didn't, the 1.5m shower hose isn't long enough really and they break easily. It's a little difficult to get the temp exactly right and if you want hot water for washing dishes it's difficult to get the pump to work right on minimum water. If I was doing it over I'd get the bigger pump with the screw on connectors. Other than that it's a great unit
The shower was easy to install and works well. Our only complaint is that it works too well. Even on it's coldest setting the water is uncomfortably hot and we can't seem to turn it down (we can make it even hotter, but not colder)
Originally ordered a shower said it would take 2 to 3 business days to arrive by Australia Post it took 9 days to arrive by Aramex. We had left the address. That one was returned as advised by Camplux and they would send a new one. New one arrived and it’s the incorrect one we had ordered and paid for 6 pl with the 65 psi pump instead we received the 5 litre 35 psi pump. NOT HAPPY Camplux very poor.
Wished it came with quick disconnect gas line instead of flare. But comes with tools. Sprayer hose could be few feet longer. But unit works amazing. Easy to use and control.
Works well for a fraction of the price compared to other high end products, shower head is nice with the features it has, the temperature runs a bit too hot and have to tweak it often, so far has been working really good for us in different elevations from lower desert to high elevation around 11,000 feet in Colorado. The only improvements to be done are the plastic fittings eventually leak so ai had to replace them with brass quick disconnect fittings and I modified the hoses and wiring to feet my needs. It works good out of the box.
Purchased this for camping, used briefly and had an internal leak. Customer service was easy to talk to, verified my concern on video and sent a new one. Other than leaking, the hot water while camping was fabulous.
We use this at a cabin without indoor plumbing or bathroom. It's a lovely addition. The assembly and use is as simple as we could hope for.My largest gripe is that the exhaust sends stinky black smoke out. Smells like melting plastic. I'm not sure that's supposed to happen.
Do yourself a favor and Don't buy a zodi first then try this one..you'll save yourself a 150$..easy install everything I needed for hook up was there great water pressure..I used a 110v to 12volt converter to an outlet for a power source 20$ on Amazon wire the male end to pump and you are ready to go
I ordered this to take camping in Maine, but as luck would have it, our hot water heater broke at our house. I set the Camplux up in my makeshift backyard shower and was able to take a nice hot shower until the house hot water heater was replaced. It was easy to set up and use. I used the hose from the house spicket, and the water temperature was very easy to regulate - not too hot or cold. I was VERY happy to have it. I have yet to use it camping but am hopeful it will work just as well from a different water source.
Used to warm the water in a 12' above ground swimming pool and works really well. You can get the water warm in about 1hr and the propane tank will last 5-6 uses
So far the shower is working well , decent water pressure with stock pump. I would like to have a lower setting on the temperature control for these hot summers months. Three settings shower head with an on and off switch
After reading a lot of reviews I pulled the plug and dragged this up north to my pole barn. This made a huge difference in luxury for an off grid retreat. Simple to hook up and clear directions. I took a wonderful shower in about 2.5 gallons and never felt cheated. Worth every penny.
Missing a connection to the shower and pump went out after a single use. Amazon did a good job to get me replacement parts and now the shower works great.
Installed for use in an outdoor shower and I cannot say I am disappointed. Some of the connections and seals feel cheap, but they seem to be holding well. The shower head connection also leaks, but this can be avoided at the sacrifice of some water pressure. The included pump does not include connections, it will need to be wired into whatever you choose. Overall I am impressed with this hot water heater and would purchase again!
Bought to heat my spa instead of electricity. Works great. Only thing the pump does not come with a power source only wires. Had to rig up a car battery to power it for now. A 12v 3amp adapter should work have to buy on first.
This unit by itself is fine. However, they advertise quick couplers and included only the female ends on the hot and cold feeders. They did not include the male adaptors that thread onto the bottom that would allow one to connect the hoses and actually use the product. Not only that, but two of the rubber wall mounts for the pump were just loose in the box and I had to open up the housing to put those on, sacrificing the prime and sending a small spring flying, but it went back together easy enough.UPDATE: I contacted the seller by phone and e-mail on a Sunday and was pleased to get a phone call response on the first business day after my email. After proving that I actually ordered their product, they shipped the missing pieces which arrived a couple days later. Aside from that inconvenience, once fully assembled, the product works as described and delivers hotter water than anyone needs for a shower. I do suggest getting a longer hot water hose and you will likely need to adapt the provided hoses to fit your particular plumbing situation. The little pump that comes with it is strong enough to pull water from my trailer from 20ft away. Overall, the customer service was so great that the frustrations from the delivery were easily forgotten. Great product. Great people on the other end.
This is a major step up from solar shower bags. I feel so blessed when I pull this baby out to heat up couple gallons of water anytime of the day. It took a bit of time and mental focus to read through the instructions and set up but now that I understood the operations it is easier to set up. There are series of steps to set up and take down.The water does get hot QUICK! So watch out for that. Also, I am not loving the pump being loud and sometime stop working (times when I need it to pump). The shower head does output an abundance of flow and can drain through your supply fast.My process now is to fill up the shower bag with water, insert the hot water output and cold water intake hose directly into the bag, and heat up that amount of water until I am satisfied. This way, I can manage how much water I use and what temperature I like it to be.I do prefer the heater control knobs to have a temperature digital display for convenience.Also to mention customer service was wonderful and knows what we are going through. Kudos to you! Just a hot shower at the end of a long day can be a gift to appreciate for the moments of living this life.

The water line broke and I contacted Camplux. I sent in the pictures of what went wrong and they sent the replacement immediately. Great customer service. The water heater produced hot water as described when it worked.
This thing is amazing. We use it at our cabin. We have a pump in the spring well that pumps the water and this heats it right up. This makes weekends on the mountain so much better.
My unit came with a slight defect. Customer service was friendly and went above and beyond in getting me a replacement promptly. Honestly one of the better customer experiences I've dealt with in this day and age of online sales and messages! My current unit works like a charm providing hot water in all corners of the US.One note for purchasers, while the unit and all hoses are included makes things simple, you will still need to electrically power the water pump that comes as well. No big hassle but you will need some electrical wiring and knowledge to connect it to your power source
Works great, I needed a temporary hotwater in home until plumbing was finished. Set up was easy, used for showers and washing dishes and clothes.Now I have it set up in my garage/work shop for cleaning up, hands, tools and bath pets. I really like it and great price.
